Trust and cooperation are the foundation of our training program.

When we have trust and cooperation, we can do anything and everything together with our horses.

From medical care and basic handling to riding and competitive training.

But most of all, we have a relationship that is strong and enjoyable for both participants. A mutually respectful and positive relationship. That is our goal here at TWE, to help you achieve that with your horse.

Whether that's through one-on-one coaching, online courses, social media, our extensive resources available freely through our podcast and blog, teaching clinics, virtual coaching and consultation services, or board & train programs.
Our unique program is centered on...
-
A whole horse approach to behavior modification and training.
-
Prioritizing the relationship between horse and human.
-
Lasting success is found with educated and hands-on owners/caregivers who are fully committed.
-
An understanding of horses being individuals with individual needs and timelines.
-
Utilizing the least invasive minimally aversive approach and following the humane hierarchy.
-
Providing the horse with as much choice and as pleasant of an experience as possible.

When working with any horse, regardless of breed, age, or discipline, our primary goal is to meet the needs of the client and the horse with an effective approach that also meets the above criteria. We establish the basics of handling, relaxation, and manners in a patient and positive step-by-step way before graduating on to fitness and physical rehabilitation or under saddle training.
Throughout this process we utilize professionals of every kind to find possible causes for undesirable behaviors and to just be sure your horse is as comfortable as possible while in training. Professionals such as veterinarians, equine dental specialists, saddle fit experts, osteopathic vets, farriers and barefoot trimmers, acupuncturists, massage therapists, chiropractic vets, and so many more.

When it comes to you, the horse's primary caregiver, your hands-on time and education are important throughout this process. This process involves the same principles that we applied to working with horses. Kindness, a whole person approach, education, understanding that people are individuals, and making the experience as positive as possible!

At the end of the day, our goal is for you to have the relationship you've always wanted with your horse.

Training services are available locally at your horse's current location, and via board & train at TWE's facility (limited availability). These services are available for active TWE Academy members and Foundation Course participants.
